Wow – what a beautiful day you had. I have only ever seen the grey misty overcast photos of Tongariro.
Hope that toe of yours is healed and didn’t cause too must angst!
I know I’ve only seen the tops of the central mountains a handful of times. The day was unusually clear.
The toe was okay but my heels had a few blisters from walking.
