I broke my toe three weeks ago. I have a spy at the hospital who pulled my file and sent me the x-rays via PXT.
Here’s the whole foot, notice the break in the pinky toe.

And here’s the break.

How did I break it, you ask?
By saving the life of a child standing in the middle of the road. He was almost hit by a bus!
Actually I hit my toe on the edge of my couch. I heard the crack, too.
I thought I had strong bones from all the milk I drank as a kid. I guess not.
Fail.
I didn’t know you could go to the doctor for a broken toe?
I asked my mother when I was young and had broken my toe at soccer… she said because it was too small they wouldn’t bother fixing it… I think she was just trying to save on doctors bills.
God. What a mean mum I had.
Big fail.
Don’t worry your mom was right. They only scanned it to make sure they didn’t need to do anything. There was a chance the knuckle bone was broken.
Dude. Ouch.
I broke my little toe tripping on a rock at a hotsprings last year. It was night, snowing and I was lacking board shorts. humm….. I would have rather kicked a couch.
Hope it feels better soon! Mine took a few weeks to get back to normal.
It sucks doesn’t it. It’s almost back to normal now…
