This year I was invited to Thanksgiving dinner at Craig and Catherine’s home. This was the menu, taken from Catherine’s blog:

Catherine made everything from scratch, even the coleslaw! Here’s a photo of my adopted family in Wellington. Catherine (the chef) and Craig (the sous-chef) are on the right:

And here we are at the end of dinner, waiting for dessert:

So good! It reminded me of dutch apple pie, without the cinnamon.
Thank you so much C & C, it was superb!
You’re welcome Jiff! We’re glad you were in the country to join us for dinner this year – I’m sure it wasn’t like what you have at home but it’s our take on it. It’s a nice tradition we’ve started (all because we were in New York on Thanksgiving 3 years ago) and we would’ve done it on actual real Thanksgiving Day this year except that we are going to be in NEW YORK again this year – yippppeeeeee! And thanks for getting the chef and sous-chef labels around the right way
I love the adopted family bit
It’s quite hard work cooking for 11 people but it’s worth it – a great way to spend an evening and I’m very glad you were able to be there with us this year.
Thank you so much guys it was great. I am still in awe of your chef’ing skills.
