I’m in Wired magazine this month in an article about Ponoko and instant manufacturing.

And how!

Here’s my side table, square table, turtle tiki necklace and chilly tiki necklace. If anyone has questions about Ponoko feel free to ask.

    The article is pretty cool… I’m waiting for it to be released in New Zealand so I can buy a few copies.

    Great Designs! How do you get the edges black? Is it paint?

    Hi Mike, thanks! The black is where the laser burnt through the wood… the tables fit together to make the cuts a feature, instead of a nuisance (when the pieces first arrive, most of the black stuff smudges off the wood onto your hands or tools)
