Emily, America is talked about more than I expected. Today on the bus someone said (in English, which grabs my attention immediately as I’m currently in a French speaking country), “All Americans think their lives are more important that the lives of anyone else.”

I’m literally scared to go to a foreign country now. People might spit at me. When are you coming to my house?
Don’t be scared… most of the friends I made told me they were scared of traveling to America, sadly. I think we’ll be in Ohio the week of the 10th. I’ll have to double check in October!
